Evadean L. (Mason) Walters

Evadean Lucille Walters, 88, of Warren, passed away on September 3, 2019 at Community Skilled Health Care Centre,in Warren, with her family by her side. Evadean was born July 9, 1931, in Waynesburg, PA, the daughter of the late Jesse and Josephine (Ingram) Mason. She had worked as a cook for Cherry’s Top O’ The Mall, Jimmy Chieffo’s Restaurant, and Steak and Ale in Niles. Evadean was a member of Faith Baptist Church, in Niles. She loved to cook and enjoyed going to church. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Evadean leaves to cherish her memory her children, Glen V. Jr. of Warren, Sharon Walters of Northfield, Oh, Melissa Nolen of Niles, Keith (Shelly) Walters of Niles, and Rebecca (Mike) Chuppa of Warren, brothers Louis Mason of Niles, Arlan Mason of Warren, Gene Mason of Austintown, and Jesse Mason of Princeton, LA, along with 13 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Evadean is preceded in death by her husband, Glen V. Walter Sr., whom passed away April 12, 2005, her son, Roger Walters, sister, Janice Eucker, brothers, Albert Mason, Lloyd Mason, and Melvin Mason, daughter in law, Jean Walters, and son in law, Victor Nolen. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6th, 1:00 PM, at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Evadean will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery next to her husband. The family would like to thank the Memory Care Unit at Community Skilled Health Care, and Crossroads Hospice, for their kind and compassionate care that was given to Evadean.
