Fredrick D Thompson Sr.

Frederick D. Thompson Sr., 78, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Warren, Ohio, died June 4, 2012 at his residence.  Fred was born January 31, 1934 in Warren, the son of the late Norman and Florence Emmerson Thompson. He retired in 2000 from General Motors-Packard Electric as a tool and die maker.  Fred had served in the US Army.  He is survived by his son Frederick D. Jr. and daughter-in-law Susan McKnight- Thompson, with whom he made his home with, and his sister Lynn Lowery of Warren.  Fred is preceded in death by his wife, the former Myrna Gardner, whom he married July 10, 1958 and died in 2004, brother William Thompson and sister Norma Spowart.  Funeral services will be held on Friday June 8th, 1:30 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will recieve relatives and friends from 1:00PM until the time of service.
