Gary Wayne Barnhart, 61, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Tuesday July 24, 2012 at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. Gary was born on November 11, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Raymond and Effie Fisher King. Gary was a military career man serving in the US Army for 5 years and 25 years in the US Navy. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed collecting all types of memorabilia. He is survived by his wife, the former, Verna M. Westover, whom he married June 7, 1975, his children Betty DeSantis of Struthers, Eddie Hernandez of Mansfield and Tina Cibella of Levinsburg, grandchildren Shannon Enyeart, April Ramous, Edward, Michael and Beth Ann DeSantis, Nicholas, Gianna and Reina Cibella, great-grandchildren William Enyeart, Mya DeSantis, and Aniya and Marquez Ortello, and a sister Darlene Briant of Washington, Pa.and brothers Berry and Ryan King of Pa. He is preceded in death by his adoptive mother Margaret Barnhart, sister Mary Greathouse and brothers Raymond and Brian King. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27th, 8:00 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard where the family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
