Glenna L Tonkin

Glenna L. Tonkin, 85, of Girard, passed away on Monday August 12, 2013, at Northside Medical Center.  Glenna was born June 21, 1928 in Morgantown, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Charles F. and Sadie A. Triplett Dalton.  She retired in 1997 after thirty years as an inspector for Packard Electric.  Glenna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Girard.  She was a great cook and enjoyed gambling and shopping.  She is survived by her children Mark Tonkin and Lisa M. Tonkin, both of Girard, grandchildren Adam and Simone Tonkin and Nicki Lopez.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Garl "Bob" Tonkin whom she married October 17, 1951 and died April 1, 2005, son Bill Tonkin, Daughter Frieda J.
