Grace I Evans

Grace I. Evans, 94, formerly of Girard, passed away peacefully on Sunday April 5, 2015 at Vista Center at the Ridge Nursing Home.  Grace was born Sept. 17, 1920 in McDonald, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Mary Neff.  Grace was a faithful member of the Girard First United Methodist Church and a member of the Lydia Circle.  Grace is preceded in death by her first husband, John Moliton and second husband Jack M.P. Evans, who died January 11, 1997, sister, Thelma Bundy, brothers; John C. Neff, Clarence Neff, William Neff, Raymond Neff, James Neff and Charles Neff.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 11:00 am at Blackstone Funeral Home with calling hours from 10:30 am till time of service. Grace will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery. Any material contributions can be made to the church memorial fund. The family would like to thank all of the staff members at the nursing home for the special care and concern shown to Grace over the last year, especially R.N. Kathleen and also to her friend Loretta who saw to it that she got to important activities and out side in the fresh air.
