Gregory W Dunn

Gregory W. Dunn, 54, of Niles, died Friday October 4, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Gregory was born June 5, 1959 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Laurence and June Sinn Dunn. He worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and was well respected by his fellow co-workers. Gregory was a member of Open Door Community Church in McDonald. He was an avid cyclist, well read, and a loving husband and father. Besides his parents of Brooksville, Fl., Gregory is survived by his wife, the former, Betty Ann Galgozy, whom he married August 23, 1986, children Derek Dunn, stationed in Japan, Christopher Dunn and Elizabeth Dunn, both at home, sisters Jenny (Bob) Staunton and Kathy (James) Gumina, both of Newton Falls, brother Jeffery (Christina) Dunn of Muskegon, Michigan, Father-in-law Ernie (Marilyn) Galgozy of Niles, Sister-in-laws Denise (Tony) Hunt of Austintown and Laura (Randy) Anzevino of Youngstown, Brother-in-law Ernie (Lisa) Galgozy of Champion and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 9th, 11:00 AM, at Open Door Community Church; Pastor Art Nicolli and Pastor Jeffery Dunn officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5-7PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard and also on Wednesday from 10-11AM at the church.
