Helen "Ginger" (Sullivan) MacCallum

August 6, 1922 — September 28, 2015

Helen Marie "Ginger" MacCallum, 93, formerly of Boardman, passed away September 28, 2015 at the Humility House in Austintown. She was born August 6, 1922 in Wilmington, Delaware the daughter of the late Robert and Marie Brennan Sullivan. Ginger had worked as a legal secretary for Automatic Sprinkler, Arby's International and BP Standard Oil retiring in 1985. She was a member of Struthers Church of Christ, Scottish Clan #39 of Youngstown and was a Literary volunteer for St. John's Knox Church, She is survived   her sisters, Margaret Steele and Eleanor Wilson, both of Wilmington, DE, and many nieces and nephews from Ohio and Delaware. She was preceded in death by her husband Colin C. MacCallum whom she married July 23, 1947 and passed away August 1, 2004, and sister Edith Shrank. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 11:00 AM, at Columbiana Church of Christ. Ginger will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivett Cemetery in North Lima.  The family wishes to thank Humility House and their Specialty Care Unit for the love and wonderful care that was given to Ginger.
