John "Jack" J. Ross, 75, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2013 at White Oak Manor in Warren. Jack was born May 18, 1938 in Girard, the son of the late John F. and Mary Ellen Ferrick Ross. Jack was a foreman for Packard Electric for 27 years retiring in 1989 and has been the owner of ARC Club since 1986. He was a Marines veteran, a member of St. Rose Church, Eagles Lodge in Girard and IFH Club . Jack enjoyed traveling with his wife, golfing and fishing. He is survived by his wife, the former, Stefanie A. Albanese, whom he married August 4, 1966, sons John Ross of Stoneboro, Pa, and Michael A. Ross of Girard, sisters Virginia Zalac and Suzanne Coates, both of Girard and a brother Anthony Ross of Girard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 26, 2013, 9:30 AM at St. Rose Church preceded by a 9:00 AM prayer service at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery.
