Jack Stevenson

Jack Stevenson, 80, of Girard, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Hampton Woods.

Jack was born November 27, 1942 in Durham, North Carolina, a son to John and Clara (Braddee)Stevenson.

He had worked for Wean  as a draftsman until his retirement.

Jack enjoyed going to Geneva on the Lake during the summer and being by the water. He was a Cleveland Indians and Scrappers fan.

Jack leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jill (Ken) Platt of Boardman and Jack Stevenson of Boardman; along with his grandchildren, Matthew Platt, Courtney (Allan) Altovilla, and Katie Platt.

Along with his parents Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Stevenson, who he married October 13, 1963 and passed away October 7, 2021.

In accordance with Jack’s wishes there will be no services.

Jack will be laid to rest at Niles City Cemetery next to his wife.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Hampton Woods for their compassion and wonderful care they provided to Jack.
