Jacqueline C. (Scaglione) Vince

Jacqueline C. Vince, 85, of Girard, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her residence. Jackie was born April 28, 1938 in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of Augustino and Julia (Mozzillo) Scaglione. She had worked as an office assistant , but for most of her life she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Jackie was a member of St. Rose Church. She enjoyed cooking, painting crafts and was an excellent piano player. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 66 years, Edward E. Vince, whom she married July 25, 1957; her children, Denise (Dr. Gary) Midla, of Martinsville, Indiana, Ed (Karen) Vince of Dublin and Susan Vince of Girard; sister, Barbara (Nick) Melfi of Girard; brother, Gus(Kris) Scaglione of Girard; Grandchildren, Scott (Lina) Midla, Marty (Katie) Midla, Ryan Vince and Kate Vince; great-grandchildren, Nadia, Dexter and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her half sister Virginia Boris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 6th, 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church. Jackie will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery.
