Jacqueline (Jackie) Rose

Jacqueline (Jackie) Rose, 55, of Girard passed away peacefully with her family by her side Monday, June 18, 2018. Jackie was born October 21, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of John "Harpo" and Sharon (Hauenstein) Del Bene. She was a Girard High School graduate, and began working for Second National Bank while in high school. Jackie was a devoted bank manager for US Bank and Chase Bank, where she last worked. She was an advocate for the Girard City Survivors relay team. Jackie was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. She loved going to her home at Lake Erie that she and her husband built, and enjoyed going to  concerts and listening to music. Beside her father and stepmother Rosemarie of Girard,  she leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 25 years, Craig Rose , whom she married October 17, 1992, her children, Robert Caldwell, and Allison Rose both of Girard, sister, Jennifer Ziegler of Girard, step-sisters, Nicole (Jason) Cole of Niles, and Michelle Surak of Niles, her beloved in laws, Terry and Carol Rose, and one grandchild Addison Caldwell, whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon, and brother in-law Randy Ziegler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 22, 11:00 AM at St.  Rose Church in Girard which will be preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, followed by an evening visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Jackie will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley in Jackie’s memory.
