James A Caylor

James A. Caylor, 81, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at The Gables of Kent Ridge on Golden Pond in Kent, Ohio.  James was born April 20, 1933 in Indiana, Pa., the son of the late Bernard and Lillian Clark Caylor.  James had worked for Preston Trucking Co. retiring in 1995 as a truck driver, and had been a volunteer fire fighter for Liberty Twp.,many years ago.  James enjoyed golfing and had been on the Church Hill Golf League and also had been a coach for the Liberty Little League.He is survived by his children; Debra (Steve) Popolis of Ephrata, Pa., Karen (Steve) Shirey of Kent, Ohio, William (Kerri) Caylor of Twinsburg, Ohio, Gary Caylor of New York, NY and Linda ( Chris) Carey of Canfield, Ohio, grandchildren; Jeremy and Justin Popolis and Hayden and Jack Carey, and seven great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Loretta, whom he married November 1, 1959 and died October 28, 2001, and his daughter Donna Caylor.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 - 12:00 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.
