James M Morrison Jr.

James M. Morrison Jr., 82, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Vibra Hospital in Warren. Jim was born July 20, 1937, in Warren, Ohio, the son of James M. and Eva (Titus) Morrison Sr. Jim retired in 1999, after 33 years, for General Motors. He was a member of New Life Lutheran Church, the William Farr Masonic Lodge F&AM , the Shriners Lodge and the Eastern Star.  Jim served his country in the US Army. He greatly enjoyed woodworking, planting his garden and was an all around handyman. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Carol (Vincent) Morrison, whom he married February 13, 1999, his son, William (Lacey) Morrison, of Liberty Twp., step daughter, Christine (Patrick) Clifford, of Girard, step son Steven (Patricia) Charles, of Hubbard, brother, Robert (Sheryl) Morrison, of Michigan and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27th, 11:00 AM at New Life Lutheran Church. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 26th from 5-7 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, were a masonic service will be held at 6:45 PM.  Jim will be laid to rest at Churchill Cemetery with military honors.
