James J. Sipusic, 75, of Girard, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at his residence. Jim was born March 29, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Anthony and Victoria (Zaleski) Sipusic. Jim served his country in the Army. He had worked for American Welding and retired from Bell & Howell, as a field engineer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jim was a regular at Jib Jab, in Girard, where he enjoyed spending time with his coffee club buddies. Jim was a friend to many and always there for anyone who needed help, whether it was driving them to appointments, getting things they needed, or raising money for those less fortunate. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, David (Melanie) Sipusic, of Hudson, Ohio, and their son Noah, his son, John (Judy) Sipusic, of Youngstown, Ohio, and their children, Dakota, Dallas and Madelyn, daughter, Grace Sipusic, of Atlanta, Georgia, step daughters, Christina (Craig) Smith, and their daughter Annabelle, and Cheri Stambaugh, and brothers, Frank (Maria) Sipusic, of Sparks, Nevada, and Michael Sipusic, of Pittsburgh. Besides his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria J. Schuster, who died October 11, 2018, and sister, Margaret Smith. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27th, 9:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, with military honors to follow. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 26th, from 5-8 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home. James will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery with his wife, Gloria.
