Jane L. DeCavitch, 89, of Liberty Twp., died Thursday January 23, 2014 at Liberty Health Care Center. She was born May 7, 1924 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Bronwen Thomas Laase. She retired from Rosenblums Aluminum Plant where she worked for many years. Jane was an avid bowler, loved fishing and doing crafts. She traveled across our great country and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Georgann (Rick) Tenaglio of Liberty, Corkie Wilkins of Girard, Pat Thomas of Girard, John (Debbie) Poling of Pa., and Christine DeCavitch, seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Ben DeCavitch, two sisters, five brothers, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. Visistation will be on Sunday January 26, 2014 from 2-5 pm at granddaughters home 577 Aurora Drive Liberty Twp.
