Janet R. Lingenfelter, 85, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Wednesday, March 30,2016 at Northside Hospital. Janet was born July 26, 1930, in Kittanning, Pa., the daughter of Robert and Mary E. Southworth Tarr. Janet had worked as a bus driver for 30 years, retiring in 2001 for Liberty School System. She was a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church. Janet is survived by her son, Donald P. Lingenfelter Jr., with whom she made her home, her daughter, Barbara (Paul) Storozuk, of Liberty Twp., sister, Jane Snyder, brothers, Jim Tarr, Bill Tarr and Dick Tarr, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald P., who died July 27, 1968, her son, Robert A. Lingenfelter, sisters, Connie Tarr and Judy Shields, and brothers, Robert Tarr and David Tarr. As per Janet's wishes there will be no services and cremation has taken place. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery next to her husband.
