Jean Marjorie (Cramer) Chambers, 87,of Liberty Twp., went to be with her Lord on July 1, 2015. She was born October 22, 1927 in Girard, the daughter of the late Claude and Jessie Beer Cramer Sr. Jean graduated from Liberty High School in 1945. She then worked at Strouss Department Store, where she met the love of her life, Arnold Chambers. They married June 19, 1948. She earned her LPN degree from Choffin School of Practical Nursing in 1965 and worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Warren General Hospital and in private practice. Her passion was always caring for others: her parents, husband, children, siblings and countless friends. She led Girl Scout Troop 128, was a room mother for her daughters' classes and served as a committee member on the Mahoning and Trumbull County Board of Directors. As an active member of Liberty Mothers Club Jean held the positions of president, VP, secretary, finance committee chair and executive board member. She was a lifelong member of Church Hill United Methodist Church since 1931. She sang in the choir and especially loved teaching Bible School and children's Sunday School. She was president of Sunday School TFG class for several years. Jean's greatest love and pride were her family. Surviving are her daughters Deborah (Thomas) Clark of Michigan, Victoria (Dr. Robert) Kell of North Carolina and Pamela (John) Lamb of Michigan, grandchildren Dr. Nathan (Jennifer) Clark, Bethany (Randy) Steinhaus, Dr. Erin (Bryce) Chaney, Jacob (Amanda) Garrrett, Rachael (fiancée Eric) Garrett, Katherine Lamb, Dr. Alexander ( fiancée Renee) Lamb, great-grandsons Grant Clark and Elijah Chaney, step-grandchildren Stephen, Colleen, Karen and their families, sister Irene Lipko, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold Chambers and brothers, James Cramer and Claude Cramer Jr. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 11, 2015 at Church Hill United Methodist Church in Liberty Twp., at 11:00 AM with calling hours one hour prior to service at the church. Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 6-9 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home. Jean will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery. The family requests any material contributions to be made to Church Hill United Methodist Church Children's Ministries, or Hospice of the Valley.
