Jean L (Lariccia) Santarelli

Jean L. Santarelli, 88, of Girard, passed away on February 4, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Jean was born June 26, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Dominic and Caroline DePaolo Lariccia. Jean had worked for Isaly's, in Youngstown, before she married her husband of 66 years, Francis P. Santarelli. Jean was a devoted wife and mother, and was always helping her friends and neighbors anyway she could. She selflessly devoted her time to helping others. She loved cooking and baking and caring for her grandkids. For several years, she volunteered at St. Rose Church, of which she was a member. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Francis, whom she married May 14, 1949, her son Gary (Beth) Santarelli, of Richardson, Texas, her daughter Tina (Donald) Stevens, of Girard; her grandchildren, Christian, Matthew, Devin, Jeana and Layton; her great-grandchildren, Easton, Landon and Capri; and her sister-in-laws, Joan Lariccia of Campbell and Gloria Lariccia of New York. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis "Mae" Andello, Josephine Dutko and Mary Lariccia; and her brothers; Michael, James, Angelo and Dominic "Junior" Lariccia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 12:00 PM, at St. Rose Church, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:30 AM until the time of mass.
