Jerry L. Adams, 69, of South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at his residence. Jerry was born January 7, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late David and Betty (Craig) Adams.
Jerry was a Service Technician for IBM in Atlanta Georgia. He served his country in the Navy during Vietnam. He enjoyed his family, golfing, fishing, and the beach. He was an avid Atlanta sports fan.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters; Janice (Kenneth) Townsend of Columbus, GA, Donna J. (Richard) Weirick of Howland, OH, and Susan R. (John) McCarthy of Lake City, FL; nieces: Meredith (Mike) Conklin of Lake Wylie, SC and Carissa (Jim) Painter of Union, KY; nephews: Tyler (Eleanore) Townsend of Columbus, GA, Matthew (Casey) Smith of York, PA, Jonathan (Angela) McCarthy of Casselberry, FL, Bryce McCarthy of Winston-Salem, NC and 9 great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 13th 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel in Youngstown, Ohio. The family requests that material contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
