Joann C. (Milliman) Kay

Joann C. Kay, 85, of Liberty Twp., died Thursday December 15, 2016 at her residence. Joann was born December 12, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles V. and Bertha (Froman) Milliman. Joann retired from Windsor House Inc. as a secretary and had also worked for First Federal Bank of Youngstown and Fithian Realty as a realtor agent.  She was a member of the Church Hill United Methodist Church a former member of SCOPE, the Saxon Club, the Red Hatters and Salty Dogs where she entertained at nursing homes. Joann loved to square dance with her late husband Robert and watched Lawrence Welk shows. Joann leaves her children Kerri (Kevin) Kaebler of Liberty Township and Robert (Sue) Kay of Liberty Township, her sister;  Gloria (Ray) Coppersmith of Youngstown, her grandchildren; Amber Marie (Andrew) Opperman and Robert R. (Sarah) Kay, her step-granddaughters; Jenn and Donna, her great-grandchildren, Liam and Avery Opperman and step-great-grandchildren Danny & Julia. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert J., whom she married July 14, 1951 and died August 6, 2008, her son Brent C. Kay and her brother Victor Milliman.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20th, 11:00 A.M at Blackstone Funeral Home.
