JoAnn R (Brogley) Maughan

JoAnn R. Maughan, 84, of Youngstown, formerly of Girard, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. JoAnn was born July 13, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of  Frank and Julia Nemeth Brogley. JoAnn worked for General Motors, in the accounting office, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Rose Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #235. She is survived by her daughters; Jacqueline (Paul) Rush, of Vienna, Robin (Mark) Yoder, of Canfield, and Jodee (Jim) Stacchiotti, of Girard, nine grandchildren and three great-grandsons. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Maughan, whom she married December 21, 1950 and died May 10, 1990, her son Russell R. Maughan and her sister Delores Kennedy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28th, at 12:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, in Girard, with the Rev. Msgr. John Zuraw officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. JoAnn will be laid to rest at Pineview Cemetery next to her husband and son.
