Joanne M (Socha) Kass

Joanne M. Kass, 79, of Girard, died Saturday April 20, 2013 at Humility House in Austintown.  Joanne was born Sept. 17, 1933 in Girard, the daughter of the late John and Stephanie Simione Socha.  Joanne was a homemaker and a member of St. Rose Church.  She is survived by her children Frank Kass III, John Kass and Stephen Kass, all of Girard,  daughter Yvonne (Jim) Quinn of Austintown, and sisters Jacqueline Susor and Theresa Sherock, both of Girard.  She is preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Kass Jr. whom she married Sept. 26, 1953 and died March 31, 2004, and brother Larry Socha.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 23rd, 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 AM at the Blackstone Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  The family will recieve relatives and friends on Tuesday from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM.at the funeral home.
