John A Chase

John A. Chase, 75, of Girard, died Thursday April 12, 2012 at Northside Hospital. He was born November 9, 1936 in Girard, the son of the late Glenn & Margaret Micco Chase. He was an Army Veteran in the Korean War. John had worked for Republic Rubber and later retired from Copperweld Steel. He was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard, and enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife Anita Scarnecchia whom he married November 30, 1957, his children, Brenda Eagle of Howland, John (Karen) Chase of Girard, and Amy Lambert of Canfield, his grandchildren Kiaunte & Malarie Eagle, Jake, Zane and Samantha Chase, Sidney and Alexandra Lambert, and his great-grandchildren Audrey, Grace and Luke. He is preceded in death by his brothers Glen and Bob Chase and his sister Mary Lou Mayoras. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April 16th, 9:30 AM, at St. Rose Church preceded by a 9:00 AM prayer service at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.
