John Lyden, 61, of Girard, died Saturday July 19, 2014 at the Hospice House. He was born October 21, 1952, in Youngstown, the son of the late John P. and Frances M. Barber Lyden. John leaves to cheerish his sisters, Elizabeth (Alton) Crothers of Rootstown and Patricia Lyden of North Ridgeville, Ohio, brother, Timothy (Kathleen) Lyden of Bend, Oregon, two nieces, two nephews, one great-niece and one great-nephew. Per John's request there will be no services. Arrangements were entrusted to Blackstone Funeral Home. John will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. The family request that material contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley in memory of John.
