John E Schuster

John E. Schuster, 70, of Girard, died Friday April 12, 2013 due to a short battle with cancer. He was born May 3, 1942 in Girard, the son of the late John F. and Erma Zander Schuster.  John worked at General Motors in Lordstown for 31 years retiring in 2001.  John graduated from Girard High School in 1960 upon completion of high school he registered with the Navy and National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1964.  He is survived by is wife the former Rose Marie Guthrie whom he loved dearly.  They were married on March 21, 1966. He leaves behind his four children, Tammy (Brian) Rowles, Raymond (Marilyn) DeRamo, Lisa Schuster and John (April) Schuster, fourteen grandchildren and his beloved dog Star.  He was preceded in death by his only sister, Ruth Ann (Williams) Schuster.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 11:00 am at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.
