John W Witkoski

John W. Witkoski, 84, of McDonald, died Monday March 25, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital  John was born August 10, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pa, the son of the late Michael and Mary Kuzubil Witkoski.  John worked for Mullee's in Warren as a television technician for 42 years retiring in 1998.  John was a HAM radio operator since he was a teenager and was a member of American Radio Relay League.  He was an avid photographer and enjoyed his electronics and computers. He is survived by his wife, the former Georgean Kiffer, whom he married March 31, 1976, step-children Donald Planton of Girard, Terry (Diana) Planton of Chardon, Margilee (Jeff) Hilson of Columbus and Michael (Kathy) Planton of Muncie, Indiana, nephews Michael (Traci) Witkoski and Mark (Kim) Witkoski, both of McDonald, seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his brother Tom Witkoski and niece Michelle Witkoski.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 28, 2013 at 5:00 P.M. at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 3-5PM.  Visit www.blackstonefuneralhome.com to view this obituary and to send condolences to the Witkoski family.
