Julian J. Navarro, 75, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Vibra Hospital. Julian was born August 14, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Margarito and Mary Navarro Suarez. Julian served his country in the Marine Corp and was a Girard Firefighter for more than 25 years before retiring. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He was a member of St. Rose Church. He is survived by his son; Julian (Kathleen) Navarro, siblings; Joseph (Maryann) Navarro of Greenwood, Indiana, Irene Olson of Oakbrook, Illinois, Margaret (Patsy) Filaccio of Liberty and Phillip (Sue) Suarez of Salem; a grandaughter; Autumn Navarro, and five nieces and five nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson Julian J. Navarro II. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 19, at 1:00 PM at St. Rose Church in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11 AM - 1 PM at the church.
