Karen R. (Wilson) Karniewicz

Karen R. Karniewicz, 62, of Girard, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at her home, with her family by her side. Karen was born April 25, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Gail (Summerville) Wilson. Karen was a 1974 graduate of Girard High School.  She was a hairstylist, and owned and operated, Karen's Styling Salon, in Girard, for 31 years, and had also worked for Youngstown Neurology Associates. Karen enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with her family.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Timothy (Kelly) Collins, and Dana Karniewicz, both of Girard, her grandchildren; Karah Collins, Brandon Collins and Weston Patterson, her sisters; Noreen Mikolaj and Cindy Mann, both of Youngstown and brothers; David Wilson, Donny Wilson and Jimmy Wilson, all of Youngstown. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26th, 6:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
