Kathy Lynn (Mauriocourt) Hetrick

Kathy Lynn Hetrick, 61, of Girard, passed away at her home on Monday, July 13, 2015.  Kathy was born February 19, 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Katherine DeVorise Mauriocourt  Kathy graduated from Girard High School in 1972. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard.  She had worked in McDonald Steel Mill in their restaurant for 10 years, but for most of her life she was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed yoga, spending time with her girlfriends and cherished her time with her family.  She is survived by her husband, Ronald H. Hetrick, whom she married May 19, 1979, her daughter, Leslie (Allan) Palm, of Asheboro, NC, son, Kevin J. Hetrick of Girard, brother Albert Mauriocourt Jr. of Las Vegas, NE, her granddaughter, Lily, and was anticipating the birth of her grandson, Owen.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16th, 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  The family requests any material contributions be made to Hospice of The Valley, in memory of Kathy.
