Lawrence “Bud” Norwood, 73, of McDonald, died Friday April 13, 2012, at Northside Hospital. He was born October 28, 1938 in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, the son of the late Fayette R. & Marion Norwood. Bud retired after many years from Ohio Edison as a Control Room Foreman. Bud had a passion for photography which he started while he was in the Army and also loved his day trips and traveling with his wife. He is survived by his wife, the former Carolyn A. Korb, whom he married November 21, 1964, daughters, Christenna (Ronald) Kindt of Charleston, SC, & Georgia (Richard) Loeschen of Solon, OH, brothers, Robert Norwood of New York, and James Norwood of PA, sisters, Jane Smida, and Mary Price of New York, and two grandchildren Camden & Savannah Loeschen. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Reed. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home. Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. As a way to celebrate Bud’s life the family requests that guests wear the spring colors that he loved.
