Louis M. Polois Sr., 80, of McDonald, passed away on Friday May 8, 2015 at his residence. Louis was born May 27, 1934 in McDonald, Ohio, the son of George and Julia Wallison Polois. He had worked for Ohio Wine Imports in Youngstown and retired from Remco Co. in Youngstown as a security guard. Louis was of Catholic faith, and a member of the IFH Club in Girard. He enjoyed going to Kuzman's in Girard, was an avid auto racing fan, enjoyed listening to Croatian music and loved his dog Rocky. He will be sadly missed by his lifetime companion, Dorothy Yoder, his son Louis M. Polois Jr. of McDonald and step-children Kenneth Yoder of Wisconsin and Cheryl Yoder of Levittsburg, sister, Christine D'Avanzo of Girard, sister-in-law, Peggy Polois of Girard, nieces; Maria D'Avanzo, Kimberly Goodwin, Laura Rice and Cindy Joyce, nephew Keith (Fiancee Cheri Thomas) Polois and six grandchildren. Besides his parents, Louis is preceded in death by his brother, George Polois. In honoring Louis' wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
