Heaven welcomes another angel, Loretta Bequeath passed away Monday, October 1, 2020 at St. Elizabeths Hospital. Loretta was born in Holliday's Cove, West Virginia, on October 21, 1927, the daughter of Floyd and Edith Hoff. She moved to Ohio when she was ten years old. She was a graduate of Liberty High School and a former employee of Republic Steel. Loretta was a member of Pleasant Valley Church for many years. She enjoyed following the Ohio State Buckeyes, reading, and crocheting. She had a great knack for understanding construction and reading blueprints. She was an overseer of several family members' new home constructions as well as her own. Loretta married Robert E. Powell on September 13, 1946 and later married Adam K. Bequeath, April 16, 1966. Loretta, who was pre-deceased by both husbands, leaves four children. Cythia Seifert, of Columbus, Sheri Powell also of Columbus, Richard (Lois) Powell of Ohio and Robert (Connie) Powell of Tallmadge, Ohio. She is survived by four grandchildren, Jason Seifert of Cleveland, Kristen (Robb) Watson of Columbus, Stephanie Powell, and Bobby(Olivia) Powell as well as eight great grandchildren, Grace, Cameron, Lily, Lona, Valerie, Adam, Evelyn, and Adler. Loretta also leaves her sister Lenore Ingalls, of Niles and a sister in law Eunice Richley of Florida as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Loretta was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Hoff as well as her twin sister Lorraine. Private graveside services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Pleasant Valley Church in her name.
