Lucky James Florek, 64, of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 18th, at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Lucky was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 12, 1953, a son of the late Wadladyslaw and Irene (Miecznikowska) Florek. He was a foreman for Easco Aluminum for 23 years.
Lucky was a member of Vienna Fish and Game and the NRA. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and camping,however it was his family that brought him the most joy.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Aleda (Morris) Florek, whom he married February 8, 1975; his children Deaun Florek of Masury and Aaron (Amanda) Florek of Howland; his sister Helina Florek of Vienna; his brother Richard (Mary) Florek of Arizona; and was anticipating the birth of his first granddaughter. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Robert "Lala" Florek.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 22nd, 7:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
