Margaret B. Winebrenner, 94, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Margaret was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret (Fabiani) Colgan.
Margaret was a saleswoman for Carlisles and retired in 1989. She was a member of St. Rose Parish and together with Sr. Eileen formed the St. Rose Quilters 25 years ago. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Winebrenner of Berwyn Heights, Md., Cheryl Winebrenner of Bethesda, Md., Patricia (Joseph) Marino of Poland and Christine (Scott) Dotzler of Germantown, Md.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Winebrenner whom she married Oct. 8, 1945, and died Nov. 22, 2013; sisters Mary, Yolanda, and Gloria; and brothers Leo and Stephen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Church. The family will receive relatives and friends between 10 and 11 a.m. at the church.
