Margie Jobe

Margie Jobe, 102, of Liberty Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at The Legacy Assisted Living in Farmdale, Ohio. Margie was born December 15, 1920 in Webster, Pennsylvania the daughter of Robert and Jane (Johns) Little. She had previously worked for JC Penney's in the office for 16 years. Margie was a devout member of Church Hill United Methodist Church and for many years helped with luncheons and dinners and was a member of the United Methodist Women.

Margie enjoyed many winters with her late husband Ben in Myrtle Beach.  In her spare time she enjoyed making crafts.

Margie leaves to cherish her memory her son, Ben (Mary) Jobe, of Cooksburg, PA; grandchildren, Joyce (Kevin) and Katie (Dave); great grandchildren, Deanna, Zachary, Connor and Hunter; and one great great grandchild, Emmett.

Along with her parents Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Jobe who she married December 22, 1940 and lived happily until his passing in June of 2003; sister, Dorothy Driscoll; and brother, Roy Tallion.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 7th, 1:00 PM at Church Hill United Methodist Church with calling hours being held one hour prior to the service. Margie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Churchill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Church Hill United Methodist Church in Margie's memory.
