Marjorie Ann Michalchick, 89, of Liberty Twp.,formerly of Vienna, passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at Liberty Health Care. She was born June 29, 1924 in Frederick, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Guy T. and Blanche Andres Hastings. She retired in 1990 after working for 29 years as a supervisor in all three cafeterias for Liberty School Systems. She was a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church. Marjorie enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, William (Louise) Michalchick of Longwood, Florida and daughter, Cynthia A. (Dennis) Day of Poland, sister, Tommie Jean Jones of Austin, Texas, three grandchildren, Brent Michalchick, Renee Loftus and Diane Day, and she leaves her long time friend of 30 years Clyde Anderson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Miller, sisters, Joan Flowers, Ruth Miller and Norma McGouran. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 11:00 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
