Marjorie Ruth (Burdick) Patten

Marjorie "Ruth" Patten, 85, of Liberty Twp., passed away Thursday September 20, 2012 at Liberty Health Care. She was born October 8, 1926 in Corry, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Elbert and Louise Burrows Burdick. Marjorie retired as a registered nurse in 1986 from Northside Hospital and had previously worked at Grove City Hospital.  She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church.  She is survived by her husband George B. Patten whom she married May 17, 1949, son Gary (Barbara) Patten of Massachusetts,brother William E. Burdick of Rochester, New York, and two grandchildren.  A Memorial Service will be held at Pleasant Valley Church in Liberty Twp., on Monday October 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM with calling hours from 10: 00 AM until the time of service.  Rev. William Burdick and Pastor John Weisman will officate the service. Arrangements have been  entrusted to Blackstone Funeral Home. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
