Marlene Ann Strauss, 79,of Liberty Twp. and Barberton, Ohio, passed away on Friday December 19, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. Marlene was born July 25, 1935 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of the late David and Mary Doyle. She is survived by her long time companion, Ivan Spehar of Liberty Twp. and her children; Carl Lee Strauss of Jacksonville, Florida, Bernie Strauss of Aimesville, Ohio, Sherry (Jeff) Cauley of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Laurie Strauss of Doylestown, Ohio, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Riley, sister Ceil Budich, brother Bernard Doyle and a grandson. A prayer service will be held on Sunday, December 21st, 2:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home.
