Mary M (Williamson) Norman

Mary Margaret Williamson Norman, 92, formerly of Girard, passed away Monday December 5, 2016 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles. Mary was born December 29, 1923, the daughter of George and Laura Butler Williamson. Mary worked as a Press Operator for more than 43 years before retiring from Metal Products in Niles. Mary loved to travel, play cards, gamble, and enjoyed her "whiskey sours." She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Bettie Norman of Girard, her sister Carol Evinsky of Rochester, New York, her brothers Bill (Janis) of Howland and Jim (Sara) of McDonald, her granddaughter Christina (Jon) Miller, her stepdaughter Paulette Thomas of Mineral Ridge and several nieces and nephews including her caregiver and niece Debbie (Gary) Grim of Vienna. Besides her parents, Mary is preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl Manny, her sisters June Betts, Dorothy McClurg, and Anna Williamson, and her brothers Leo, Bob, George, Paul, Tom, Gene, and Arthur. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00 P.M at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mary will be laid to rest at Niles Union Cemetery.
