Mary Jane Resnik, 63, of Austintown, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mary Jane was born December 2, 1953 in Girard, Ohio, the daughter of Louis and Helen Mae (Carbon) DeConcilus. She had worked as a receptionist for the Ursuline Sisters in Canfield. Mary Jane attended Shiloh House of Praise Church in Beaver Twp., PA., and was a member of the Croatian Home in Youngstown, SNJP Lodge and the Moose of Warren. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Vinko "Vic" Resnik, whom she married December 9, 1988, step daughters, Eva (Frank) Campbell fo Valley City, Ohio and Sue Brown of Elyria, Ohio, a brother Nicholas DeConcilus of Austintown, grandchildren, Kristy, Karina & Jessica, a great-granddaughter Evelyn and a niece Dora. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 8th, 2:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
