Mary Ann (Monroe) Strong

Mary Ann Strong, 85, of Howland, passed away on December 23, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic. Mary Ann was born on April 14, 1931 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Richard and Jane (Williams) Monroe. She was a member of Girard First United Methodist Church in Girard. She devoted her life to lovingly caring for her home and her family. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Sherry A. (Daniel) Day of Niles and Kelly L. (Rick) Glembocki, of Hiram, Ohio, granddaughters, Kaitlin (Kris) Hodge and Abigail (AJ) Ruberto, and great-grandchildren; Brennen and Audrey Hodge and Isabella and Adrianna Ruberto. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Strong, whom she married October 29, 1949 and died May 2, 2016, and her brothers Richard and Thomas Monroe. Memorial services will be held on Thursday December 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM, at the Girard First United Methodist Church, 22 Market St., Girard, Ohio.
