MaryLou "Red" (Wardle) Cannistra

Niles - MaryLou "Red" Cannistra, 94, formerly of Liberty, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2018 at the home of her daughter, with family at her side.

She was born November 24, 1923, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Wardle. She was the beloved wife for 49 years of the late Edward E. (Deanny) Cannistra; loving mom of Geri (David) Kohn, Barbara (Todd) Stitt, Eddie Cannistra and the late Dennis Cannistra; dear grandma to Dennis (Kaili) Simpson, Danielle (Tod) Rogers, Melissa (Michael) Horning and Amanda Cannistra; great-grandma of Greyson Simpson. All That knew MaryLou will remember her warmth, kindness, good nature and most of all her smile.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17th, 1:30 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends from noon until the time of service.  MaryLou will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery next to her husband.
