Max L Case Sr.

Max L. Case Sr., 78, of Weathersfield Twp., died Monday May 27, 2013 at Omni Manor. He was born April 10, 1935 in Brookville, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Leroy and Marie Carberry Case.  Max retired from LTV Steel as a Crane Follower where he worked for 30 years. Max was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Girard. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, going to garage sales,was a handyman who could build anything and also enjoyed working on cars.  He is survived by his children, Max L. (Grace) Case Jr. of Girard and Pamela (Gary) Paul of Girard, sister, Lucille Thrush of Austintown, brothers, Bud Case of Florida, Gerald "Joe" Case of Austintown and Harvey Case of Brookville, Pa, and a grandson, James Pope.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Snyder and  Rudy Bell. The family request that material contributions be made to Hospice of the Vally in memory of Max.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday May 31,2013 at 5:00 pm at Blackstone Funeral Home, where family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 pm till time of service.
