May Ong Lee, 91, of Liberty Township, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. May was born October 5, 1924, in Canton, China, the daughter of Tim and Mguey Lau Ong. She had owned and operated Lee's Carry Out in Liberty Township with her husband, Charles, from 1965-1988. May was a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. May is survived by her children: Robert (Linda Y) Lee of Liberty Township; Linda Lee of McDonald; Margaret (Frank) Mark, of Wildwood, Missouri; Geneveive Davis of Columbus, Ohio; and Jack Lee of Charlotte, North Carolina; a brother James Ong of Sacramento, California; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and a sister, Kim Lin Hom. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, from 5-7 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. On Thursday, January 21st, 11:00 AM funeral services will be held for May at the funeral home and then she will be laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery next to her husband.
