Michael M. deShetler, 65, of Girard, formerly of Florida, died Monday October 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1948, in Pennsylvania, the son of the late Clifford and Eileen McMahon deShetler. Michael was a retired Attorney obtaining his Doctorate Degree in law from Cleveland State University. He was of Catholic faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Michael is survived by his daughters, Heather Bentley of Girard and Meredith Trullinger of Olathe, Kansas, sisters Marcia (John) Fernandez of Chicago and Kathleen (Terry) Carnes of Dallas, Texas, brother Lawrence (Karen) deShetler of Houston, Texas and grandchildren Chalmer, Chaylee, Claudia, Sydney, Hayden and Cambrie. He is preceded in death by his sister Leslie deShetler. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 11:00 AM at the Blackstone Funeral Home.
