Michael "Mickey" D. Simboli

Michael “Mickey” D. Simboli, 49, of Liberty Twp, passed away on Sunday April 24, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Mickey was born January 25, 1967 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Michael J. and Katherine (Romeo) Simboli. He worked at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital as a nurse’s aide for twenty five years. He shot pool for the Alumni in Girard and was a member APA Pool League. Mickey was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing with his friend Kozi and spending time at his cottage in Pymatuning. He is survived by his father Michael and step-mother, Mary Ann Nagy Simboli, of Florida, his sister Michele “Shelly” Simboli Kennedy of Liberty Twp, step-sisters, Kristi Boros and Kim Sine of Niles, and nephews, Geno Kennedy, Robert “Bobby” Kennedy, JT Ferrier, and Joey Sine. Mickey will be sadly missed by many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine (Romeo) Simboli. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 10:00 AM, at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Mickey will be laid to rest next to his mother at Belmont Park Cemetery. Following the cemetery services the family would like to invite family and friends to Canterino’s Sports Bar and Grille in Girard, Ohio.
