Mollie Marie Smith

Mollie "Marie" Smith, 90, formerly of Girard, died Tuesday February 14, 2012 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born February 14, 1922 in Boone Camp, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George and Martha Harmon Perry. She had worked for Modern Builders in Youngstown for 14 years and then retired in 1984 from Benada Aluminum in Girard after 20 years. She was a long time member of Hope Baptist Church in Girard and New Life Christian Fellowship in Libery Twp. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Merle L. Smith whom she married March 21, 1939 and passed away August 16, 1991, eight sisters and five brothers. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Febuary 18, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Sat. from 11:00 Am till time of service.
