Nancy L. Pauley, 71, of Canton, formerly of Girard, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Nancy was born December 19, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Hassel and Rebecca Brooks Pauley. Nancy graduated from Girard High School and then earned a degree at Century School of Culinary Arts in San Diego. She worked as a executive Master Chef for several corporations and individuals, and operated her own successful catering business. Besides cooking, Nancy had also enjoyed reading, water aerobics, volleyball for the Girard Lady's City League and going to the casinos. She was a member of Les Dames D'Escoffier International and formerly of the Girard First Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Cindy (Adam Krajchir) Krossman, with whom Nancy lived with and sister Lana Andrews of McDonald. Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 9th, 5:30 PM at Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
