Nancy Ann (Baudile) Ponzio

Nancy Ann Ponzio, 81, of Girard, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at her residence.  Nancy was born April 5, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Larry and Josephine Tisone Baudile.  Nancy was a member of St. Rose Church and enjoyed bowling. Nancy devoted her life to her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her children Carlo A. Ponzio of Girard, Salvatore J. (Judy) Ponzio of Girard, Annette M. (Walter) Adcock of Weathersfield and Nancy J. (Randy) Weibel of Girard, sisters Jennie Bart of Sharon, Pa., Margaret Lattanzi of Youngstown, Helen Latronica of Youngstown, and Betty DelBene of Youngstown, her grandchildren Marie Cetor, Joseph Ponzio, Salvatore Ponzio III, Gina Sherock, Randy Weibel Jr., Christopher Weibel and Anthony Weibel. and a great-grandson Dominic.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore J. Ponzio Sr., whom she married October 6, 1956 and died November 6, 2006, her brother Dominic Baudile, sister Virginia Terchila and daughter-in-law Toni Ponzio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated by Msgr. John Zuraw on Tuesday, July 22nd, 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.  Nancy will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
