Patricia Sue (Herr) Bahr

October 20, 1940 — October 22, 2014

Patricia Sue Bahr, 74, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 5:34 pm in Lakewood, Colorado.  Pat was born October 20, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio and is the daughter of the late Clifford and Cecile Herr.  She is also survived by her brother Glenn Herr of Gold Hills, North Carolina and sister Karen Shaffer of Haines City, Florida.  Pat was a 1958 graduate of Liberty High School and married Paul L. Bahr of Vienna High School in 1960. They were married for 43 years and together had four children.  She was a homemaker until she began working as a sales representative for McCormick Spice Company where she was employed for 18 years. Her hobbies included going to thrift stores and flea markets, buying and selling antiques, reading novels, cooking, photography, painting and drawing, world travel and sighseeing.  She commuted south to Florida every winter for over 20 years.  She loved being with her family and always giving more than she received. Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Sherry Cvelbar, Chris Bahr, Tammy Antonie and Todd Bahr, her 6 grandchildren and her best friend of over 50 years, Bonnie Yoshimura.  Calling hours will be held at Blackstone Funeral Home, 672 Churchill Rd. in Girard on Thursday from 11:30 am  until 1:00 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm. officiated by Pastor Pete Fowler of Salem First Friends Church.
